Client: Park The Bus

Role: Composer - Full Score

Brief:

Score a feature-length documentary about the contentious world of greyhound racing—a sport rooted in working-class culture, now facing ethical questions and an uncertain future. The film moves between history, heartbreak, grit, and quiet humour. The music had to do the same—truthful, human, and tonally flexible.

What We Did:

We built a textured, emotionally responsive score using pianos, analogue synths, detuned organs, woozy tape loops, and lyrical guitars. The palette shifts with the film—sometimes nostalgic, sometimes uneasy, always with fingerprints intact. Nothing polished for the sake of it. We kept the character and complexity of the world intact—never romanticising, never flattening.

Outcome:

The score was praised for being “playful and unexpectedly moving,” helping to thread together a world that’s as endearing as it is complicated.
